KansasTravel.org is my personal Kansas restaurant recommendations, travel reports, and reviews of Kansas attractions and museums. It may ignore some of the better known attractions while suggesting less known "gems." But I have visited every place listed and include my candid opinion of how interesting they really are.

If you have only seen Kansas while traveling along I-35 or I-70, you will be amazed at the fascinating history, geology, restaurants, and folk art that can be found only a few miles off the interstates.

Some attractions are of only passing interest, but others would stand out even in a more tourism oriented state. For example, the Kansas Cosmosphere, Grassroots Art Center, Route 66 and Castle Rock Badlands are each worth making a special effort to visit.    New Kansas Travel blog
